Whole school dance before summer break
Posted: 29th July 2021While we’re here, we might as well dance!
Before pupils said farewell to Roydon Primary Academy for the summer, they got to their feet and danced.
The whole school took part in a socially distanced Wakka Wakka dance.
Head of school Anna Myatt said: “Dance is a powerful ally for developing many of the attributes of a growing child. Dance helps children to mature physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
“The aim of the dance was to bring the whole school together before we broke up for the summer. The children have been practising in their bubbles as well as at home with their parents.”
While parents could not be there in person to enjoy the show, they were given access to a recording.
