Physical Education
A high-quality physical education curriculum aims to develop students’ physical competence, movement knowledge, and understanding of how to participate safely and effectively in a range of activities.
Through physical education, students cultivate important social skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and cooperation. They learn to respect personal space, value others’ abilities, and follow rules that promote fair play and mutual respect. These experiences also help them become better at negotiating and collaborating with peers.
Physical education supports the development of an active and healthy lifestyle by encouraging participation in a wide variety of physical activities. It also fosters leadership, resilience, and teamwork, while helping students apply these skills across other areas of their learning and everyday life.
P.E. (Physical Education) is taught twice a week by specialist teachers. For an overview of the content taught in these lessons, please download the whole school overview.
