London trip consolidates learning
Posted: 15th November 2018The effect of non-recyclable waste on the environment was just one lesson learnt by children on a school visit.
Year 2 pupils from Roydon Primary Academy visited the London Aquarium to consolidate their geography topic of continents and oceans.
Class teacher Lynda Case said: “The children learned more about natural habitats and the effects of non-recyclable waste on our environment. We had a fabulous day with the support of the on-site School Leader who made our day more memorable.
“It was a great day which provided a wonderful learning experience for our children.”
Headteacher Michael Clark said: “The children were fantastic and loved seeing what they had been learning about in class.”
