Roydon welcomes back Rob

Posted: 20th October 2017

Our Year 5 class were very lucky to get a visit from a ex Roydon pupil this week. The children met Rob Harknett. Rob came to Roydon in the 1940's. He spoke to the children about what life was like at Roydon 70 years ago. He let the children ask him questions and he answered them all.

The children were amazed with how different school life was back then, and still have alot of questions!

Rob even left them a coin each dated from the 1940s.

We would like to thank Rob for giving up his time and sharing his experiences with our children.
