Harlow Foodbank Visit

Harlow Foodbank Visit

Last Thursday our Year 5 and 6 'Junior Leadership Team' representatives went to the Harlow Foodbank to drop off our incredible Harvest Festival donations. Once they had dropped off the 15 boxes of food they stayed to find out more about the foodbank.

They were shown around the warehouse and asked lots of questions about what goes on and who the food goes to. They learnt that the foodbank doesn’t just take food but also toiletries and even pet food.

They then spent the rest of the morning helping to sort food by dates and box food up.

This was their idea to help the foodbank, we as a school are very proud of them for helping out. We will definitely be going back to help again.
